Fill the Hill – 08/22/2023

The 31st Annual Prairie Colors Marching Band Festival - 09/09/2023. Eden Prairie High School. GR class AA 1:45pm. Drum Majors: Kaitlyn Olson, Katie Chung. First Place Overall, Best Drum Majors, and Best Color guard, across all classes. The festival ended in rain.

The 2023 Eastview High School Marching Festival – 09/09/2023. Clean sweep across the entire class AA, including: First Place Overall, Best Drum Majors, Best Winds, Best Percussion, Best Colorguard, and Best Soloist. This is the first time the band has swept a competition and took the top prizes in every category since 2019!

Bands of America, Whitewater, WI – 09/16/2023 6th place overall

Rebel Classic Competition in Champlin Park, MN - 10/07/2023. On Saturday evening, Oct. 7, the band took First Place Overall and won Outstanding Music, Best Visuals, Best Percussion, and Best Colorguard. This is the second clean sweep of Class AA this year for the Grand Rapids High School Marching Band.
Youth in Music – 10/14/2023 GR finished 4th for class AAA with a 78.150 and are the Minnesota State Class AAA Championship Runners Up for the second year in a row. Plus, they earned 5th best band in the state overall.

The band is directed by Dale Gunderson, Sander Grotjohn, Anissa Grotjohn, and Dave Myers.
This year's show coordinator is Wes Cartwright, with music arrangement by Colton Hines.

31st Fill the Hill – 08/20/2024
The 32nd Annual Prairie Colors Marching Band Festival - 09/07/2024. Eden Prairie High School. GR Class AA 2:15 pm. Best Color Guard, Best Percussion, Best Winds, Best Drum Major, and took First Place overall.
The 2024 Eastview High School Marching Festival - 09/07/2024. GR Class AA 8:00 pm. First Place overall as well as all caption awards, including Best Soloist (Oliver Grosland), Best Drumline, Best Winds, Best Colorguard, and Best Drum Majors.
Bands of America, Des Moines (Waukee), IA – 09/28/2024 16th place overall Class AA Placement 6th, very windy day
Festival of Bands, Sioux Falls – 10/5/2024. Prelims: Class AAA 3rd Place (74.0), Outstanding Percussion. Finals: 10th Place (71.8).
