02/04/2024 Unit Circle

Some Old Hippie, Caught Another Hippie, Tripping On Acid. And that is the mnemonic I used to learn the trig functions:)

\[sin = \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse}\]

\[cos = \frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}\]

\[tan = \frac{opposite}{adjacent}\]

The radius of a unit circle is 1 and the angle is called theta. A good site to explore the unit circle is https://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/unit-circle.html.

End of blog. Thank you for reading!
